Temple monkeys
I mentioned some monkey business in my previous post but didn’t share the pictures, mainly because I didn’t take them!
Luckily, the photographer has given me the green signal 🙂

The babies kinda fit into that category of “so ugly they’re cute.” Their faces remind me of naked mole rats, and I confess that “monkeys6” reminds me of Gollum! But such expressions – makes you really intrigued to discover their thoughts.

You know, I didn’t realize quite how ugly they were till I edited the pix, heheh. The babies look so threadbare, poor little things 🙂 I enjoyed the way they claimed ownership of the place and went about their business unperturbed by humans. It was fun watching them grab and gobble lotus buds offered to them by people who bought them at the foot of the hill. 🙂 Some of the male monkeys chased each other crossing our path without a care! Very distracting indeed 🙂

Holy smokes, that little guy is cute. Mom is beautiful as well. I can see why the offspring and her camera were attracted to the monkeys. Beautiful, beautiful creatures.
