blue-y sunny poolside morning
Not in the mood to swim, but just sit outdoors and study my new camera, I found my way to the hotel pool, there to potter about taking pictures of things and peruse the manual. No one there except me, blue sky and gorgeous East African clouds…

why are East African clouds poofier than Southeast Asian ones? 😐
anything Masai catches my eye
It was fun setting the timer and dashing back and forth several times to get a ‘reasonably good’ shot of myself. I just hope no one was watching from their windows…..

I love the blues. MY favourite pic is the Masai one. Lovely combination of layout,focal point and a little abstraction. I think your self-portarit is neat too.

Me too. The Masai one is more creatively composed….I was still overwhelmed by the DSLR at that point, nervous and unworthy 😛 think I loosened up a bit with that one.

All these photos from your trip are so beautiful. (I’m so envious of that lovely hotel room!) I’m so glad I thought to visit over here tonight on my own. I haven’t gotten any of these posts in my feed or by email even though I’m following this blog, too. WordPress seems to be having a lot of weird problems lately.
Anyway, I think I’m loving your new camera, too. 🙂
